Students who wish to board do so in the knowledge that they will be taken care of by our boarding team in a safe and homely environment.
The boarding facilities cater for students from 8 to 16 years old, and are separated into male and female dormitories. Both the male and female dormitories can hold fifty students.
Each dormitory has a communal kitchen area, lounge area with True Visions, and a reading room. All bedrooms feature individual beds, with desks, wardrobes and storage.
A nurse is on site 24 hours a day, to take care of any illnesses that may arise or counsel students who are homesick or need someone to talk to.
All our boarding staff are experienced in managing the needs of young people who are away from home, and they are proactive in ensuring that the links between boarding life and home life are as seamless as possible.
Students follow a regular routine which enables them to engage in school life, while still feeling as if they have the freedom of home life. Outside of school hours educational support is in place during study hall where students are guided by our academic staff.
Student enrichment activities are organised during weekends for the boarding students. These events include cycling in the local area, cooking challenges, orienteering, visiting local attractions and a variety of sports (for example football, basketball, tennis, swimming and golf).
