Last weekend members of the Secondary Choir attended the 25th annual ISB Choral Festival. On Wednesday the students were visited by international choir director John Baker for a workshop in preparation for the event which they attended on Friday and Saturday. Sixteen international schools took part, forming the largest choir in the event's history with over 450 students taking part in the concert in which a brand new piece was premiered for the first time. For some students, performing in front of such a large group of peers is daunting, as is performing in front of such a large audience. However, our students (wearing blue sashes) were in their element and performed beautifully, overcoming any nerves they may have had.
