Growth Mindset - Year 6JM

Last Thursday, 6JM performed the first class assembly for this academic year. Using a great combination of live performances and videos recorded in class, they told us about the importance of having a growth mindset. This is a mental attitude, which determines how you interpret and respond to situations.  They spoke about how having a growth mindset can help enormously with your learning - if you believe in yourself and learn from mistakes, with persistence and determination, you can succeed! The assembly ended with a rendition of the song, Be The Best That You Can Be.  It was a lovely assembly and the children should be enormously proud of how well they performed.
