Physical, Social and Health Education in Key Stage 3

Physical, Social and Health Education (PSHE) is a vital part of the students' learning week. Topics covered deal with issues of which young adults need to be aware. This will enable them better to navigate day-to-day life and to negotiate challenges they may face, such as social media use, bullying or stress.

Not only do the students learn about these important issues, they are also given the tools to respond appropriately in their interactions with both the school and the wider community.

Included in the PSHE curriculum are sporting events which aim to emphasise the sense of belonging to teams. These events help to develop teamwork through competitive games, to make bonds with others and to develop leadership skills.
