Chinese New Year 2024

We celebrated Chinese New Year on Friday 9 February. It was great seeing everyone wearing their Chinese traditional costumes, including the many parents who came to take part. After a parade and photos at the Flag we were treated to a traditional Lion Dance performance by external performers. They also had a ’hit’ new character, a frog, whom the students loved especially our Early Years. 
In the afternoon the whole school was treated to an amazing Chinese performance. The students have been practising hard for their performances and we were not disappointed. There was a surprise act, the teacher fashion show, which the students really enjoyed.
