Year 10, 11, 12, and 13 ICT and Business Studies students took part in an educational trip to P.C.S. Machine Holding Company in Korat, where they learned about advanced manufacturing technologies, including the company’s use of over 200 robotic arms and its future plans to develop smart systems and AI. ICT students explored how robotic arms operate through the input, process, and output stages, how they are programmed, how systems are troubleshooted, and how automation impacts jobs and productivity, while Business Studies students examined large-scale production processes, the stages of production, and how automation improves efficiency and reduces costs, as well as its effects on supply chains and employment. The trip enabled students to connect their classroom learning with real-world industrial applications.
