Last week the children in Early Years focused on the importance of a healthy, varied diet. Throughout the week they found out that it was important to ‘eat a rainbow’ every day and how each different coloured fruit or vegetable helped us to grow and learn. On Thursday the whole of Early Years took part in the Eat a Rainbow Festival to end the week's learning. The children were able to taste each different colour of the rainbow, choosing some of the many fruits and vegetables available and talking about their preferences. It was a wonderful week and we are so proud of everyone in Early Years for working hard to develop a healthy lifestyle.
