On Friday 18 October, Year 2 enjoyed a visit by The People Eye Care Foundation. The children learned how their vision would be affected if they had cataracts. They found it interesting to look through a special piece of plastic that blurred their vision and thought about how this would make life challenging. The pupils learned how PECF travel to rural places in Thailand and Myanmar to give operations to help people with cataracts help them see clearly again. Year 2 presented a cheque for 20,000 baht to PECF. We are already thinking of new ideas for how to raise more money this year to support the valuable work they do.
