Year 1 work with Operation Smile

Earlier this month the Year 1 children were visited by Dean from Operation Smile. Operation Smile is the Year 1 Community Partner and the children really enjoyed meeting Dean and finding out about the fantastic work Operation Smile does to help children with cleft lips and cleft palates around Thailand. As part of their IPC Exit Point, the Year 1 children made 'magic' optical toys to sell in their own 'Toy Shops'. Children from other classes loved playing with our spinners, DIY board games and choosing a 'magic' Thaumatrope toy to buy. It certainly made everyone smile - great job Year 1!
