Year 5 trip to Ayutthaya

As part of the Thai curriculum on literature and culture, our Year 5 students visited the Arts of the Kingdom Museum in Ayutthaya on Wednesday, 5th February. They had a wonderful time exploring the Khon masked dance drama exhibition, gaining insights into this traditional Thai art form.
During the visit, students had the unique opportunity to learn the traditional method of making paper from Streblus asper, also known as Ton Khoi, discover the different Khon characters, and craft their own unique designs by painting their own colourful resin Khon masks. It was an enriching and hands-on experience that deepened their appreciation of Thai heritage.
